Tunman Wood, Lincolnshire

Tunman Wood, Lincolnshire

Tunman Wood is ancient woodland close to Eagle Barnsdale. Set in beautiful countryside, the wood is home to a rich variety of wild flowers and wildlife. In Spring there is a spectacular display of bluebells.

The paths can be muddy, so not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

You can visit Tunman Wood on a Stepping Out walk starting in nearby Thorpe on-the-Hill. You can find the Stepping Out walk here.

Please note, there is no parking available near the woods, but you can access via foot from Eagle Lane.

The wood forms part of the Witham Valley Country Park.
