Normanby Hall Country Park

Looking for a brilliant family day out packed with outdoor fun, play areas and water play? Normanby Hall Country Park has plenty to keep families entertained throughout the summer season.

Family Fun at Normanby Hall & Splash Pad

  • Location: Normanby Hall Country Park
  • Splash Pad Opening: Daily, 11am - 5pm, May to September

With playgrounds, woodland adventures, crazy golf, miniature trains and the popular splash pad, Normanby Hall is a fantastic destination for families looking to enjoy a full day outdoors.

The Splash Pad

The splash pad is open daily from 11am - 5pm throughout the summer season, weather permitting.

Children can cool off with interactive water jets and splash features while families relax nearby.

Please note:

  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times
  • No booking is required
  • Families may be asked to limit splash pad use to one hour during busy periods
  • Aqua shoes are recommended

Playgrounds

Families can enjoy two fantastic play areas:

  • A large adventure playground with a mega deck tower, zip wire and sand digger
  • A smaller playground beside the splash pad designed for younger children

Explore the Woodland

Discover woodland sculptures, storytelling areas and the magical cottage in the wood while exploring the park’s beautiful outdoor spaces.

Farmyard Crazy Golf

The seasonal farmyard-themed crazy golf course returns during weekends and school holidays.

  • Weather dependent
  • No pre-booking required
  • Additional charges apply

Miniature Railway

Operated by the Scunthorpe Society of Model Engineers, the miniature railway runs on most Sundays and bank holiday Mondays during the summer season.

Train rides are available in exchange for a donation to the society.

Land Train

Hop aboard the Normanby Hall land train for a 15-minute ride around the grounds.

  • Runs weekends and school holidays during summer
  • Weather dependent
  • Tickets available from the gift shop
  • Under 5s ride free
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult

Please note the land train does not operate during event days.

Admission Prices

Day tickets include access to the Park and Grounds, Hall and Farming Museum during the summer season.

  • Adult: £12.50
  • Adult Concession: £11.50
  • Child (5-16): £7
  • Child Concession: £6
  • Under 5s: Free

During the winter season there is a £5 car parking charge instead of standard admission.

Whether you’re splashing in the water, riding the train or exploring the woodland, Normanby Hall offers a fantastic family day out throughout the year.
