The Lincoln Sausage Festival is back! Come and celebrate all things sausage at Lincoln Castle this October.

After two years away we are back with the Lincoln Sausage Festival in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. Each October the Lincoln Sausage Festival celebrates the county’s most iconic export – the Lincolnshire Sausage! 

With a picturesque setting of cobbled streets and dramatic castle, it’s no surprise that this festival is one of the region’s top foodie events. The day attracts visitors from all over the UK to Lincoln’s beautiful Bailgate area through great smells and tastes from the excellent fresh Lincolnshire produce that is available at the Lincoln Sausage Festival.

Cost

Free entry for children (15 & under), just £2 for adults

During the day there will be:

• Cooking demonstrations

• Food stalls featuring some of the best Lincolnshire produce

• Children's entertainment and live music.

• Lincoln Castle will be filled with stalls

• An abundance of Lincolnshire Sausages on offer for people to buy and eat on the day - or to take away and enjoy at home. 

• Local chef Rachel Green's cooking demonstrations

• Lively performances from The Cosmic Sausages, and Juggling Jim. Mr Sausage will also be making a return this year - along with Mrs Sausage.
