May Half Term in Lincoln's Green Spaces

Come and enjoy all the activities we have going on this half term in Lincoln's green spaces.

Den building - Hartsholme Country Park

Wednesday 2nd June 10:30 - 12:30 and 1:00 - 2:30

Who lives in a house like this? Join the Park Rangers to build a shelter which could protect you from the wind and rain, using fallen timber and tarpaulins. The activity will be in the woods, so suitable clothing and sensible shoes should be worn. 

Cost: There is a charge of £3.50 per child for this event and booking is essential. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is aimed at children aged 4 to 13 years. This is a Children’s University validated activity.

Where: Meet at 10.30am or 1.30pm outside the Visitor Centre, Hartsholme Country Park, Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln, LN6 0EY

Seed Bombs & Slingshots - Hartsholme Country Park

Thursday 3rd June 1:00 - 2:30 

Let’s celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week by making your very own seed bombs, and then get creative about flinging or slinging them out into the environment by creating a catapult for spreading those seeds. 

Cost: There is a charge of £3.50 per child for this event and booking is essential. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is aimed at children aged 4 to 13 years. This is a Children’s University validated activity

Where: Meet outside the Visitor Centre at 1pm, Hartsholme Country Park, Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln, LN6 0EY
