Lincoln Family Festival of Fun

Throughout February half term, Lincoln will be hosting a fun-filled family festival with a huge a range of FUN, FREE ACTIVITIES for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the performances and activities include:

Liver Cottage | Sunday 13th February

At Liver Cottage, comedy chefs - Hugh Fearn and Lee Whittingstall – will be presenting a cookery demonstration like no other.

Anyone for tennis? | Saturday 12th February

Wimbledon is coming to Lincoln! 

Pongo | Saturday 12th February

Meet Pongo! The world’s only eight-foot baby Obobee bird. 

Makendoo Workshops | Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th February: 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm | Waterside Shopping Centre 

Over the weekend, Makendoo will be running painting and making workshops for children of all ages.

Saturday - Bugs World: With Spring just around the corner, children can pop along to the Makendoo  workshop to make and paint spring-themed crafts including butterfly masks, birds, bees and flowers.

Sunday - Space Explorers: This space-themed workshop will give children the opportunity to make rockets, flying saucers, alien masks and stars.

Jon Hicks | Friday 18th February | Cornhill Square

Jon Hicks is a talented performer, speed painter and artist. Jon will be executing live paintings as dynamic performances and installations. 

Showtime Circus Workshops | Monday 14th February |St Mark's Square 

& Tuesday 15th February | Cornhill Square

Showtime Circus will be on hand to wow you with their aerial acrobatics, hula hooping and stilt walking, as well as giving you the chance to try out all of the skills yourself too. 

Workshops are drop-in and will be running 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. There will be a 20 minute show at 4pm on both days.

Bowjangles | Sunday 13th February

A string quartet with a twist! It is also physical theatre, comedy and exuberant storytelling.

The Birds | Wednesday 16th February

With their stunning fanned tails, these fantastical giant birds will be entertaining and inspiring audiences. From a distance, the Birds are impressive and magnificent. Close up, their detail is dazzling.

Tootles and Nibs’ Balloonimals Workshop | Friday 18th February

Create your own balloonimal at this fun and creative workshop. Perfect for families, this activity will take place between 11am-1pm and 2pm - 4pm.

Godzilla Town | Thursday 17th February: 12pm-2pm, 3pm-5pm | Lincoln Castle 

Look out for monsters towering over the city… and confused Godzillas not quite sure where they’re going… Godzilla town is hilarious fun for all the family – collect your own mask and try to find your way out of the city!

Disco Shed | Sunday 20th February | Cornhill Square

Head to the shed for a day of disco classics, hula workshops and plenty of fun and games.
