Enjoy a classic community tradition this summer at the Heighington Duck Race and Boat Race, taking place along the Beck with plenty of family fun and fundraising.

Heighington Duck Race & Boat Race 2026

• Date: Sunday 7th June 2026
• Time: From 11am
• Location: The Beck, Heighington

The races begin at the Old Mill Bridge on Mill Lane before finishing at the Beck Lane - Park Lane footbridge.

Families and visitors are invited to enter either the Duck Race, the Boat Race, or both, with plenty of excitement as competitors race along the waterway.

Entry Information

• Entry Cost: £3 per duck or boat
• Registration Opens: Monday 11th May
• Registration Times: Monday - Friday, 5:30pm - 7pm
• Registration Location: Tucann Lodge, Beck Lane, Heighington

There will be first prizes awarded in both race categories.

All profits from the event will be shared between Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Hope for Tomorrow Cancer Care charities.

With racing ducks, homemade boats and a fantastic community atmosphere, this promises to be a brilliant family event by the water.
