Gainsborough Rotary Fireworks Extravaganza
Next dates
Gainsborough's Rotary Fireworks Extravaganza is doing things a little differently this year, with seven minutes of quieter fireworks set to music before the louder display begins. There's also a fairground, entertainment and food stalls, making it an option for families who want more than just the fireworks.
Gainsborough Rotary Fireworks Extravaganza 2026
Date: Saturday 7th November 2026
Time: 5pm to 8pm. Fireworks at approximately 7.30pm.
Cost: Early-bird tickets: adults £7, children under 16 £5. Standard tickets: adults £8, children £6. Children aged 5 and under go free.
Location: The Venue at Roses, North Warren Road, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, DN21 2TU
Booking: Advance booking recommended. Tickets will also be available on the gate.
The fireworks are the main event, with a seven-minute quieter display accompanied by music, followed by five minutes of traditional louder fireworks. It's worth knowing about if you've got children who are a bit unsure about loud bangs, although the evening won't be completely noise-free.
Before the display, there'll be classic fairground rides, hook-a-duck, LED stilt performers, trade and craft stalls, plus hot food and drinks. The venue will also have a licensed bar.
A few practical things worth knowing: There's no general parking at the venue, so organisers recommend walking where possible or using nearby public car parks. Disabled visitors can contact the organisers about parking arrangements.
Dogs aren't allowed, apart from registered guide dogs and other support animals. Sparklers, outside food and drink, and chairs aren't permitted either. As the event is outdoors, warm layers and sturdy footwear are sensible, particularly if the ground is wet.
Proceeds will support local causes and Rotary's international charitable campaigns.
