For four days in October, traditional venues, cobbled streets and shopping centres will be transformed by innovative and immersive digital experiences as international  and emerging artists takeover the city.

Frequency is an international festival of digital creativity, hosted every two years in the historic city of Lincoln.

Our programme is bursting family friendly activities and interactive experiences for people of all ages!

We present an imaginative fusion of art, heritage, media and culture, giving everyone the chance to discover a world of digital art. We have popped up in surprising places, filling Lincoln’s historic and hidden corners with creative delights. 

At Frequency, new and innovative works by emerging and established artists and creative technologists showcase the best creative talent from across the globe; with immersive exhibitions and interactive experiences open to all.

Frequency is a platform for celebrating the pioneering spirit of digital innovation; sparking debates on digital culture, nurturing talent within the creative industries, and inspiring the digital creative in us all. 

The core aim of Frequency Festival is to enable access for all to creative experiences in a digital playground inspiring debate, discussion and discovery. This year’s festival will combine live performances, installations and exhibitions with workshops, panel discussions and talks.
