Built in 1798, Ellis Mill is the last of nine windmills that once stood on the Lincoln hill top, and is located on Mill Road, just behind the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. Located on Mill Road, just off Burton Road, there has been a mill on this site from at least the middle of the 17th century. After undergoing essential maintenance last year, Ellis Mill will be open to visitors again on Saturday 17th September. 

Visitors will have the chance to look inside the ground floor of this impressive tower mill, and find out more about the inner workings from the knowledgeable volunteers.
