Boston Market takes place in the Market Place every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year, with an additional Makers & Farmers Market held on the last Saturday of each month from March to October.

Renowned as a tourist attraction in its own right, Boston Market boasts a vibrant mix of traders offering a wide variety of goods, services, and fresh local produce. Visitors can browse stalls selling everything from fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, plants and flowers to toys, gadgets, fabrics, sweets, cakes, cards, household goods, and clothing. There’s also the chance to enjoy a drink or a delicious snack from one of the outdoor food vendors.

Throughout the year, the market also features special themed events, including the popular Makers & Farmers Market, the Teenage Market, and other seasonal additions. The Markets Team works in partnership with the Events Team and private organisers to bring a range of exciting activities and community events to the Market Place.
