Sutton on Sea Beach

Places to Visit

The blue flag award winning beach at Sutton on Sea stretches for miles in both directions. The golden sand is the perfect place for a picnic, for sandcastle building or to fly a kite.

The village of Sutton on Sea is quiet and characterful. You'll find plenty to do here, whether it's a quiet stroll along the promenade or through Pleasure Gardens, playing on the beach, or paddling about in the Maple Leaf splash park (located behind the promenade).

The High Street has a variety of small independent shops, from a traditional sweet shop to antique shops. There are also a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Parking

There are no sea view car parks but several are close to the main pullover at the end of the High Street. A small council run car park is located on the opposite side of the road to the pullover accessed via Marine Avenue. More parking is available beside the Pleasure Gardens on York Road.
