The parkland and gardens reopened at a reduced capacity to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Visitors must pre-book tickets on the National Trust website. Unfortunately you will be turned away if you arrive without a booking. Please arrive within your 30 minute timeslot. New tickets are released every Friday and booking information can be found on the property website. For now, the house remains closed. Please check The National Trust website for details and updates.
Gardens and parkland open daily 9:30am - 5:30pm
Belton House has over 1300 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland to explore.There are a variety of walking routes around the estate and through the parkland and woods as well as around the lake. You will find lots of opportunities for wildlife spotting, as well as '50 things' to do at Belton House challenges.
Belton has become a popular destination for families in search of outdoor fun, with seasonal trails and the National Trust's largest outdoor adventure playground (currently closed).
Dogs on leads are welcome in the stableyard and parkland.

There are lots of quiet spots for picnics (designated areas).
Limited snacks and hot drinks are available from The Stables Restaurant, including a takeaway cream tea in a bag.
Toilets are located around the estate, though not all toilets are open currently, and limited numbers of people are allowed in at one time.
