Next dates

Sorry, there are no future dates available

As part of Bardney’s Jubilee celebrations, on Saturday 4th June Cedar House Childcare will be relaunching our annual scarecrow festival. The Bardney Jubilee Scarecrow Festival involves members of the local community displaying their homemade scarecrows outside their houses. The people who visit Bardney on this special day can use the map to follow the route and see all the wonderful Royal creations.

Bardney Jubilee Scarecrow Festival | Jubilee Events in Lincolnshire

  • Saturday 4th June
  • 11am start
  • 4:30pm winners announced

With the help of Bardney Group Parish Council we will be hosting a day of scarecrow hunting around the village followed by games and stalls on the community field. The scarecrow trail is a competition which people enter online, and on the day they can display their Jubilee inspired scarecrow either on their property (if they live in Bardney) or on the community field if they are from a surrounding village.

Maps

Maps of the route will be available to purchase for people to view the scarecrows at their own pace, and these maps are handed in on the day to vote for the winning display. In previous years we have had around 70 entries with some incredibly creative talent displayed.
More information is available on the Cedar House Childcare Facebook page and our website here.

Cedar House Childcare

Cedar House Childcare is a charity organisation based in Bardney, who offer places from 9-months to school age during term time and holiday club for children up to the age of 11.
We have recently moved into a new, purpose-built setting and are now fundraising to increase the quality resources in the outdoor area to support the children’s development.
